A Chocolate Caramel Pizookie with a dash of sea salt is a delicious giant deep dish cookie pizza just asking to be covered in ice cream and melted chocolate much to the delight of your loved ones!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter , softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar , packed
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chocolate covered caramel candies
Instructions
Note: click on times in the instructions to start a kitchen timer while cooking.

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and spray a 10" cast iron skillet with baking spray.
  2. Cream the butter, sugar and brown sugar on high in your stand mixer until pale and fluffy (2-3 minutes).
  3. Add in the vanilla and eggs and combine on medium speed until fully incorporated.
  4. Add in the flour, baking soda, salt until just combined then fold in the chocolates.
  5. Put half the cookie dough into your cast iron skillet, sprinkle in the chocolate covered caramels then cover with the rest of the cookie dough and bake for 20 minutes, covered with foil, then uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
